Net neutrality, cubersecurity on State of the Union agenda

Network neutrality, cybersecurity, and paid sick leave are likely topics for this evening’s State of the Union address by President Barack Obama. The address is scheduled for 9 p.m. Eastern Time. The President in November announced his support of net neutrality, and what he calls “lowering the cost of launching a new idea.” In a statement, he said, “I believe the FCC should create a new set of rules protecting net neutrality and ensuring that neither the cable company nor the phone company will be able to act as a gatekeeper, restricting what you can do or see online.”…
