The ownership of MI-Connection, our local cable, phone, and internet company, allows us to lay fiber around town to benefit our residential and commercial customers. Our ability to partner with E2D to help eliminate the digital divide in Davidson, Cornelius, and Huntersville, plays right into E2D’s mission to insure that every student in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School system has the proper computer technology and support to achieve academic success.The Town of Davidson also hopes to provide access to the internet in all public places around town, our town green, parks, playgrounds, etc. to benefit our citizens.
