The Open Technology Institute at New America recently released a paper to guide community planning of broadband projects. Entitled “Building Broadband Commons: Tools for Planners and Communities,” the paper gives an overview of different models communities can deploy to help provide fast, affordable, and reliable Internet to all their citizens, and suggestions for how government, private industry, and civil society stakeholders can contribute to these projects.
