Washington, D.C. (December 21, 2021) Today the Next Century Cities team released the 2021 version of its annual Year in Review. The publication highlights the organization’s advocacy throughout the calendar year, emphasizing the importance of local voices and community-based insights in the broadband landscape.

Highlights of the yearbook include recaps of NCC’s first virtual conference and academic convening; an illuminating interview with Kimball Sekaquaptewa, Chief Technology Officer of the Santa Fe Indian School in New Mexico; and an index of the organization’s 2021 publications. The yearbook also sheds light on organizational priorities for 2022.

The full yearbook can be accessed here or in magazine format via the ISSUU publication platform here

Next Century Cities issued its inaugural Year in Review in 2020, focusing on the role that the COVID-19 global pandemic played in advancing universal connectivity goals.
