Digital Southeast: A Regional Broadband Convening

Next Century Cities and the Roanoke Valley Broadband Authority will host a regional broadband convening on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in Roanoke, Virginia!
Digital Southeast will bring together local, regional, and national broadband champions, community leaders and policy experts. Attendees will learn about successful models for broadband deployment, network funding opportunities, digital equity strategies, and more, and will have the opportunity to network with others interested in improving connectivity in the region.

Getting to Roanoke
Airport: The Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport (ROA) is about a 15 minute drive from the event venue. You may also consider the Charlottesville Albemarle airport (CHO), about 2 hours from Roanoke by car.
Train: The Roanoke Amtrak station (RNK) is two blocks from the event venue.
While there is no hotel block offered for this event, we do recommend the Hampton Inn and Suites, a two minute walk from the event venue.
