In the past three and a half years since I joined the NCC team, I’ve had the privilege of visiting 16 states in my official capacity, and several more in my personal capacity. Some of my favorite memories from 2023 include collaborating with local advocates during a digital equity convening in Los Angeles, California, ideating alongside community partners throughout the rural development conference in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and bringing together local leaders from across the region at the New Mexico Tech Summit in Albuquerque. 

Researching the community broadband and digital equity planning happening across the states and territories has me looking forward to the projects coming online this year. With 2023 in the rear view, I am honored to continue supporting the local leaders working diligently in every corner of the country to ensure that all residents have the access and devices they need to get online, regardless of where they call home. I look forward to expanding our footprint in 2024 and visiting more of the broadband advocates we work closely with every day.
