On Monday, June 26th, Next Century Cities is hosting a webinar focused on broadband advocacy strategies for Pennsylvania communities. The webinar will discuss a variety of supports including access and adoption data, relevant research and publications, state broadband programs, IIJA funding programs, academic and nonprofit allies, and communication strategies to support broadband access and deployment.
Join us for a broadband data webinar on Thursday, December 8th, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm ET. The Metropolitan Area Planning Council, which serves the greater Boston area will provide opening remarks on how local leaders are using broadband data to inform digital equity strategies. On May 2nd, Next Century Cities will host a listening session in Houston discussing the digital divide in Texas. Participants are encouraged to bring ideas, insights, and suggestions for improving broadband access and adoption in Texas. The information shared in the listening session will remain anonymous, but will be used to inform a case study focusing on connectivity needs and community-centered solutions from across the state.
