Transforming Communities brought together broadband champions from Congress, the Executive Branch, other federal, state and local agencies, community leaders including mayors and heads of anchor institutions, policy experts, and 2016 presidential campaign advisors.
The post-election event featured keynote conversations and panel discussions on how to expand current broadband efforts in communities nationwide and key policy goals and needs for the next Administration. It also included demonstrations of innovative civic applications enabled through gigabit technology.
